Mauri Small
Mauri Small, LCSW, has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and families in schools and agency settings. She worked with patients and supervised staff in the Department of Child Psychiatry’s Home Based Waiver Community Service Program at St. Luke’s Hospital. The program serviced 5-18 year olds with axis 1 diagnoses who were stabilized in the community rather than hospitalized. Ms. Small served as Director of the Camelot Counseling Center Violence Prevention Program at a NYC public high school and is now the chief school social worker at The Williamsburg High School for Architecture and Design. As a senior facilitator for GroupWORKS, she conducts groups for NYC public school students and staff. Ms. Small maintains a private practice in Manhattan working with individuals, couples and groups.
