Harriet Lenk
Harriet Lenk, Ph.D is a former middle school teacher and assistant principal. She has a doctorate in curriculum and teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University and a M.S. degree in supervision and administration from Bank Street College of Education. Dr. Lenk is a member of the Graduate Faculty of Bank Street College of Education in New York City and her areas of expertise in teacher education include induction support for beginning teachers, early adolescent development, curriculum development and experiential group process. As a senior facilitator for GroupWORKS, she conducts classes and group sessions for teachers, counselors and social workers in the New York City school system.
Dr. Lenk is a New York State licensed psychoanalyst and a graduate of the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies. She has a private practice in Manhattan and New Jersey.
